THE MILLS

Where exceptional fibres become cloth — and cloth becomes character.

CUSTOM SUIT & SHIRT
MILLS

At Sartorialto, every bespoke garment begins long before the first cut. It begins with the fibres — the unseen foundation of a custom suit or shirt — and with the mills where these fibres are transformed into exceptional cloth.

Our fabrics are sourced from across the world: silk from Thailand, cotton from the Americas, mohair from New Zealand, and vicuña from Argentina. Before reaching our cutting tables, each fibre passes through some of menswear’s most respected mills, where raw material becomes refined cloth, ready to be shaped to your physique.

For our shirting, we rely on Swiss excellence, including the renowned Alumo cottons. Woven in Switzerland, these fabrics are prized for their balance of structure, breathability, and longevity — ideal for shirts that feel crisp, wear beautifully, and improve with time.

In suiting, we work closely with two pillars of Italian textile craftsmanship: Loro Piana and Ermenegildo Zegna. Their fabrics represent the highest level of sourcing, innovation, and refinement, offering everything from timeless elegance to technically advanced performance cloths.

These mill partnerships give our clients access to materials defined not by trends, but by touch, drape, and integrity — the qualities that allow a bespoke garment to age gracefully and remain relevant for years.
